Problem with Shutdown-Plugin

Hi,

the shutdown plugin works while I am remotely accessed to my htpc via realvnc. I select "shut down" and press the "return" button on my keyboard and the htpc shuts down.
Doing the same via the IR-remote and selecting "shut down" on the tv screen it only exits gbpvr but the htpc is still up.

Has anybody experienced this behaviour and found a solution?

ive experienced some other problems with the shutdown plugin, if i went to shutdown or restart gbpvr crashed (nothing in log file to say what happened). i might do a rebuild of it (if the original developer doesnt, havent seen that developer here in ages). i want to address a few bugs in it (spelling mistakes, skinning issues etc).
