the best thing would be to do it how beyond tv does it. they include some more advanced screen adjustment, 14:9 ratio etc. but yeah it does need to be addressed. this is where xbmc stands out (it handles this kinda stuff really well).

Its on the list to add in the future, but it just hadn't made it to the top of the list yet.

Since I don't know how complicated it would be to add, it is not fair for me to progress this discussion since the thing is well known and planned for the future. However, I will take the opportunity to make a case for it and hopfully push it up on the prio list....

I just want to run GB-PVR as the ONE interface to live TV, recorded TV, music, and movies (divx..) [Not so much interested in DVD since I do that via a standalone player.]

I had a go at fixing it in the past, but it wasn't going to be as easy as it looked, so I now know its going take a bit reasonable amount of my (limited) time. I will get to eventually, but it's just not as important as lots of other things that need to get done first.

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (Imreen @ Oct. 28 2004,16:56)]I managed to fix this by changing setting from VMR9 to overlay.
I'm having the same problem with both Xvid's and Divx movies. I've tried toggling between both VMR9, VMR7, and overlay but have had no success.

Does anyone else have any suggestions? I've searched the archives and outside of installing/uninstalling various codecs I'm not sure what else to try.

I also have a pvr350.

thanks!
