I may be wrong?Currently if you're a zap2it user and you have the 'dont record duplicates' option set, then it'll only schedule the recording of an episode if no other 'ready' or 'pending' recording exists with the same show identifier. This unique show identifier is supplied by zap2it, and available for about 99% of shows.
Perhaps if someone can provide a full explanation of exactly what happens in GBPVR when a show title is set to be 'Record Season (All episodes on this channel)' all the way through to the individual show titles being deleted.
This schemes works well for users that tend to leave series of shows on their hard disk, or for weeding out extra duplicate shows of that might be rescreened in the same week etc, but not as well for users that 'watch and delete'.
I am considering changing the logic to store this list of shows identifiers in a database table, not purged when you delete a recording, probably automatically deleting the identifier automatically 40 days after the user deletes the recording (tweakable in config.xml). I dont think its worth making this list permanently keep these show identifiers - this will likely confuse users who wonder why shows arent recording.
