Last time I tried getting the HTPC system up I was into Girder, USB-UIRT and all that crap. I also managed to really create a useful script in girder. But that was four years ago and I realized yesterday that I really don't have the interest nor the time to walk that line again. I mean, HIP might be easier than Girder, but it's still not a walk in the park.
So I'm asking for some guidance here:
Our public service radio serves us a streaming radio that unfortunately isn't in shoutcast format, but som DRM media opening up either real player or windows mediaplayer embedded in a webpage.
You can see it yourself here: http://www.sr.se/webbradio/webbradio_fal...sp?namn=p1
In the best of world I would have a plugin that simply embedded the necessary HTML into an ordinary GB-PVR screen.
The second best would be "something" (this is where you kicks in) that opens the webpage on top of the GB-PVR screen and allows the remote control to control the interface. (The control thing is not extremely necessary if only it's possible to close the windows and get back to GB-PVR).
Has anyone managed to do this?
