I love this plugin and it is now my default Guide listing and along with ProgramImageTool it provides a snappy a snazzy guide. I just have one wish.

This is something that I entered in the GBPVR Wishlist but now that I am using this plugin for my guide display the enhancement request may perhaps belong here.

One of the things that I miss with the GBPVR guides as opposed to the guide on the Dish Network receiver is the ability to have multiple favorites lists.

I would be ready great if I could define multiple Favorites lists, perhaps one for me and another for my wife, perhaps one with just movie channels, one for sports channels, one for broadcast networks, etc. and then while within the guide when I hit the guide button again have it switch to displaying the the next favorites list (and display up top which list was being displayed). Ideally it would remember the last guide selected for display and would default to that. I really miss no longer having this functionality.

Regards,

Hi,

Uisge Wrote:One of the things that I miss with the GBPVR guides as opposed to the guide on the Dish Network receiver is the ability to have multiple favorites lists.

this has also been requested by others, but is not that easy to resolve because many things need to be changed "deep within" the plugin. I will try and look what's possible if I get some time.

D:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr>XmltvIcons.exe C:\I-xmltv\TVGuide.xml
Reading C:\I-xmltv\TVGuide.xml...

Error reading C:\I-xmltv\TVGuide.xml: There is an error in XML document (2, 11).
Exiting.
Of course, no IconDictionary.xml is built.

Hi,

the error occurs, because...
leecole Wrote:There is an error in XML document (2, 11).

Anyway, you won't have success (that means a populated icon dictionary for use with the tv listings plugin) when running the xmltvicons utility against an "I-Xmltv" file, because the zap2it data doesn't support the <icon> element in the xmltv output.

The alternative is to put images into a so called ressource directory. You can find some information in this thread or at the wiki page of the plugin.

it seems that you're still using the official version that is available on the wiki. Please try the pre-release version that is linked in my post above.

Well you were right - I had an "unpacking-issue"... Working like a charm now!

Thanks again for this brilliant plugin!

So everything seems to work now about paddings in reoccuring recordings. Thanks here first for the work.

Regarding the skin it obviously will take until you officially release the update before the Community Skin will be updated as well (with the old skin information and the new plugin you will completely loose the Channel Icons).

@alibert: Could you post the extract of the updated skin.xml regarding channel icons that than can be copied into the community skin for tv-listings?

Thanks

So I just tried around a bit and got it working myself. I case somebody is interested in the skin.xml for the MCE theme via Community Skin for the new prerelease - I can provide it on request.

Cheers, Piotre

Hi,
Zoran Wrote:I think I found a bug thou. In the previous versions of the plugin you used to able to highlight a show and hit play on the remote (mvp) or using the keyboard ctrl + p (computer) to watch livetv. This no longer works. You need to go thru the popup and hit the watch button in order to start livetv. I tried all the commands listed in the keymapping file and play seems to be the only one that doesn't work.

Thanks Zoran

Thanks for the report, it's already fixed in the upcoming release.

Alibert -

Looking forward to installing the update but can I suggest that you change the name of the download to reflect the version number? I always save previous versions of stuff in case I need to downgrade for some reason and the original file is no longer available, and I almost overwrote my backup file.

Also does this version allow the channel icon and number in separate columns? When I suggested this you mentioned it would be fairly easy to include in an upcoming version and I was wondering if it made it into htis one.
