At some point I seem to have lost all channel logos and can only see red X's in their place.
Both in 99.5 and 99.12 with the latest plugin and the latest communityskin
Any ideas ?

Anyway of using the translucent green from the original TV guide when scrolling? I think it looks better than just a flat green.

I'm using the Community Skin.

Me too. I see red X in the guide, but when I select a show for more info, my channel icon is displayed. Using GB-PVR 0.99.12, TVListings 0.9, and Basic skin with Themes Manager plugin using Contour Green theme. Guide is from zap2it, using TVGuide Supercharger, configured it to use media from additional dir (which must be working since I can see pictures of shows and the channel when I view the details of a show).

Basic skin attached from "Basic\tv listings" dir.

Solved part of the problem, somehow the segment below didn't get copied by Themes Manager to the Basic skin. I now have channel icons in the listing, but not the number by it.
Code:
<!-- variables that can used include: icon, name, number, iconAlternativeName -->
<!-- iconAlternativeName will only be drawn if there is no icon for the channel available -->
<CompositeImage name="Channel" size="60,40">
    <DrawTextWithOutline text="@number" loc="0,10" size="28,20" fillColor="White" borderColor="Black" outlineWidth="1" textStyle="ChannelNumbers" align="Right"/>
    <DrawRect loc="0,0" size="59,39" borderWidth="1" borderColor="ChannelIconSurround" fillColor="ChannelNameRectangle"/>
    <DrawText text="@iconAlternativeName" loc="0,0" size="60,40" textStyle="ChannelNames" align="Center"/>
    <DrawImage filename="@icon" loc="1,1" size="58,38"/>
</CompositeImage>
<CompositeImage name="SelectedChannel" size="60,40">
    <DrawTextWithOutline text="@number" loc="0,10" size="28,20" fillColor="Yellow" borderColor="Black" outlineWidth="1" textStyle="ChannelNumbers" align="Right"/>
    <DrawRect loc="0,0" size="59,39" borderWidth="1" borderColor="ChannelIconSurround" fillColor="ChannelNameRectangle"/>
    <DrawText text="@iconAlternativeName" loc="0,0" size="60,40" textStyle="ChannelNames" align="Center"/>

How to make this appear when watching Live TV? Or is it only available from the main menu?

Hi and sorry for the delay - I was quite busy this week.

Wakalaka Wrote:How to make this appear when watching Live TV? Or is it only available from the main menu?

no, it's currently not possible to use the plugin as video overlay.

as I said some posts above:

Quote:the new release 0.9 of the plugin is not backward compatible to previous skin files. I would recommend to switch to the default blue skin that is also included in the .zip package of the plugin, until your favourite skin supports the v0.9 of the tv listings plugin.

Maybe you should ask the authors of your skin if an update is possible.

I'm using the Community Skin.

well, you can change the colors for the selected programme by yourself in the skin.xml file. Just replace the color attribute of the following element to the color you would like to use:

Code:
<NamedColor name="SelectedNormalProgramme" color="#555599"/>

MixMan (author of Basic skin) has his PM box full, so I'm posting here:

In my Basic\tv listings\skin.xml, I have

<CompositeImage name="Channel" size="60,40">
<DrawTextWithOutline text="@number" loc="0,10" size="28,20" fillColor="White" borderColor="Black" outlineWidth="1" textStyle="ChannelNumbers" align="Right"/>
<DrawRect loc="0,0" size="59,39" borderWidth="1" borderColor="ChannelIconSurround" fillColor="ChannelNameRectangle"/>
<DrawText text="@iconAlternativeName" loc="0,0" size="60,40" textStyle="ChannelNames" align="Center"/>
<DrawImage filename="@icon" loc="1,1" size="58,38"/>
</CompositeImage>
<CompositeImage name="SelectedChannel" size="60,40">
<DrawTextWithOutline text="@number" loc="0,10" size="28,20" fillColor="Yellow" borderColor="Black" outlineWidth="1" textStyle="ChannelNumbers" align="Right"/>
<DrawRect loc="0,0" size="59,39" borderWidth="1" borderColor="ChannelIconSurround" fillColor="ChannelNameRectangle"/>
<DrawText text="@iconAlternativeName" loc="0,0" size="60,40" textStyle="ChannelNames" align="Center"/>
<DrawImage filename="@icon" loc="1,1" size="58,38"/>
</CompositeImage>

Any idea why the channel # doesn't appear?

yes, but I will need your complete tv listings skin.xml, your gbpvr.exe.log, and possibly your baseskin.xml file, too, to say why.

You can give me pointers, I'm trying to learn this stuff so I can help fix. I've attached the requested files. I compared the skin.xml in one of your postings to my Basic\tv listings\skin.xml, found the DrawTextWithOutline missing from it, and copied it in.

Already posted the Basic skin for InternationalCinemaListings plugin.

Hi,

the problem in your skin file is that in the special element for the channels the numbers get painted, but then they are hidden again by the background rectangle for the channel logos. You will nedd to adjust the width for the channel logos, so that there is enough space to display both the numbers and the iocns side by side. If you've adjusted the width, you may also want to adjust the position of the guide (move it a bit to the right), which can be done in the special element named "guide".

I already included a skin.xml file for the default blue skin that will display the channel number column in this post, the changed sections are the following:

Code:
<CompositeImage name="Channel" size="90,40">
    <DrawTextWithOutline text="@number" loc="0,10" size="28,20" fillColor="White" borderColor="Black" outlineWidth="1" textStyle="ChannelNumbers" align="Right"/>
    <DrawRect loc="30,0" size="59,39" borderWidth="2" borderColor="ChannelIconSurround" fillColor="ChannelNameRectangle"/>
    <DrawText text="@iconAlternativeName" loc="30,0" size="59,40" textStyle="ChannelNames" align="Center"/>
    <DrawImage filename="@icon" loc="32,1" size="56,38"/>
</CompositeImage>
<CompositeImage name="SelectedChannel" size="90,40">
    <DrawTextWithOutline text="@number" loc="0,10" size="28,20" fillColor="Yellow" borderColor="Black" outlineWidth="1" textStyle="ChannelNumbers" align="Right"/>
    <DrawRect loc="30,0" size="59,39" borderWidth="2" borderColor="ChannelIconSurround" fillColor="ChannelNameRectangle"/>
    <DrawText text="@iconAlternativeName" loc="30,0" size="59,40" textStyle="ChannelNames" align="Center"/>
    <DrawImage filename="@icon" loc="32,1" size="56,38"/>
</CompositeImage>

and

Code:
<SpecialElement name="Guide" loc="130,80" size="540,280" visibleChannels="7" guideMinutes="120" scrollMinutes="60" showNavigation="false" borderWidth="2" showStatusColor="false" showStatusIcon="true" brightenCurrentShowsPercent="16"/>
<SpecialElement name="Channels" loc="35,80"/>

I hope you can make it from here.
