I'm not running Vista either but did you stop the recording service? Do you see any processes listed that have GBPVR in them?

I stopped the recording service and the gbdvrtray process and that got rid of the "file is open in another program" statement, but now it tells me I must have permission to remove devnz. I suppose I have to figure out how to log on as administrator to go further. (What a drag!!)

Thanks. I turned off record service and the gbdvr tray icon and was then able to get beyond "folder is open in another program". But now it tells me I need permission to delete devnz. I am the administrator and owner so I don't know what permission I have to get.

It's bloody infuriating to be an administrator and then be told you need some higher authority. Like Bill? God? ???
