Hi smeghead and 4zm4r3d02,

smeghead Wrote:My log files ar attached

4zm4r3d02 Wrote:Logs attached, along with copy of '.\skin\Community-WS\tv listings\skin.xml'.

there seems to be an error while initializing the skinhelper object, but the logs don't tell me the exact position where it crashes. A quick look at 4zm4r3d02's skin file didn't tell me an obvious error, too (assuming that there is a named color "GeneralOutilne" defined).

So, my next question to you is, does the same error occur when you're switching to the default 'Blue' skin, too?

Hi,

guyr Wrote:More of a general GB-PVR question than one for TV Listings: are the key mappings just documentation, or should I be able to change them to keys of my choice and have the updates applied on a restart? I tried changing ^p to F12 and when I restarted, play was still using ^p.

yes, it should work this way, but I'm not sure regarding the "F"-keys, as they are predefined by gbpvr to start plugins directly as far as i know.

Hi,

pvrwookie Wrote:2) I have copied the icons to media/art but they still do not appear.

I think the wiki page describes the way the plugin looks for programme images well, have a look at "Configuration" there. If you still have problems, please provide a detailed description what you have done and what your're expecting.

pvrwookie Wrote:I was wondering if this could be changed to also look for just TLC.jpg? Its a reak bugger when channel lineups change as I move back and fourth from cottage to city :/ or when channel lineups change. Using the callsign only without channel number was a neat fix with the default guide.

No, sorry, the channel icon has to be named exactly like the channel name that you will see in the gbpvr config application.

No, it works with the blue skin.

I corrected the typo in the '.\skin\Community-WS\tv listings\skin.xml' file, but that didn't help. The same typo is in the '.\skin\SkinPlugin\TVGuides\7-WS\tv listings\skin.xml' file.

Thanks for the pointer, I already figured it out and have it working, I am getting icons and programme pics as well now. Thanks for the plug in Smile much appreciated Smile

I ask this only because the default tv listings currently supports icons with callsign only. This is a nice feature for a few reasons, such as I do not need multiple graphic files for each line up. This also offers a easy way to package up channel logos for anyone or any new install irregardless of channel order.

Of course tiz just my .02 Smile

Again thanks I really like the detailed information and color coded guide. Its snarfy Smile

sorry - but what is a "callsign"? Is this us-specific? Maybe you can try and explain your wish in another way.

I'm still getting the error "the type initializer for 'GBPVR.TVListings.Listings' threw an exception" whenever I try to use the TV Listings plugin with the Community WideScreen skin. TV Listings works fine when I use the Blue skin.

Is anybody able to use the TV Listings plugin with the Community WideScreen skin?
