I'd actually being directing my 'post the logs' comment at Pastro for his connection problem, but I'm happy to look at whatever problem you might be having.

What exactly is the problem I'm looking for in your logs? Its not clear to me from your posts earlier in this thread.

Thanks but it did start working and now it is disconnected until I get the rest of the ethernet in to the upstairs rooms. If I have trouble when I get it set back up, I'll follow up.

It's a two story house so getting the first floor ethernet wired was a challenge. I have it in the second story now, so I'm close to being done, it's just to hot to do during the day. I have a short window to work before the kids go to bed, and so far I haven't had a chance with all the end of the school year stuff going on, and the fact that I've been a little lazy!

Yes it's a real pain to wire.. Are you running the wire inside or outside. I've do it outside prior for 6 years with no problems with heat, cold, the freezing cold, rain, an etc... This time I've drilled 5/16 wood hole into the storm window then wood window, then I calk it up.... I would have given you a hand if I was nearby..

Appreciate the help if only in spirit. I'm actually climbing around in the attic and dropping wires down the walls and cutting holes in the wall to mount an ethernet box. Getting to the first floor is difficult but I have a spot where I can climb between the floors and drop a wire in. In one case, I managed to cut a hole in an existing cable drop box, and fish the ethernet through. Bought a different face plate that has ethernet and video and it looks good.
