Hi! I'm using Zap2It (so sad that they're closing) and yesterday I noticed that my EPG wasn't showing up. Today I tried to reload and I get the error message that is attached.
What's the deal?
I'm running 99.12 on XP. I have a Visiontek Xtasy Theater 550 Pro (or something like that). If you need any more information, please let me know, thanks!

From the error message, I'd guess that a firewall is getting in the way, not allowing the connection to happen.

Hm... I will check the Windows firewall exceptions. Thanks for the quick reply sub and I'll update when I've fixed it.

Hm, nope... it turns out the recording service wasn't running but I still can't update even from config.exe. My windows firewall is off, even. I do have skype, utorrent, and AIM running. Any ideas?

Sorry, I dont know then. It really sounds like a firewall socket permission error.

I dont think its a GB-PVR error, so an older version wont help you. I'm sure its something external to GB-PVR denying permission.

Well then it makes this software pretty useless at this point. All of the sudden this error is popping up all over....
