I can see the driver is there at the time you ran filtercheck, but it wasnt at the time that error above occured.

This would have to be because either the device was unplugged at the time, or because of flakey drivers that are prone to 'disappearing'.

Sorry, I'm not really sure what to suggest.

So...do I have to conclude that, after all, GBPVR is not for me? And a flaky driver is the reason?

After all the work I've done this is a big disappointment but - such is life.

What this seems to boil down to is some kind of incompatibility between the approach of TechnoTrend's software developers and GBPVR's. I find this a little difficult to understand because TT does not have a bad reputation in this respect so far as I know. In fact I understood that TT was regarded as technically among the best. But I'm in no position to judge.

Don't give up. Try and see if you can use your card in myTheatre or dvbviewer or anything such. I had a lot of use for that when I started getting my system up. See how it behaves there. (I don't have TT, but many others I'm sure.)

Yes, it is uphill initially... Perseverance is the key... it really is. Price to pay for systems like these. I have been using it for some months now. Solving one issue after another. Not with GBPVR as such, but with other components of my system to make them interact.

Also, take the time to learn xmltv. My only problem is that the database site I am using does not have all channels I have a subscription to.
