Sorry for the lack of response.

I'd downloaded the file, but havnt been able to check it. I recently rebuilt my machine and found on vista I cant get the component to work that I need to fake devices (plays back transport stream pretending to be a device). I'm not quite sure what to do about this. I need this functionality, but I also dont what to go back to XP.

Dual Boot?, but failing that, I have a spare Mobo + Duron 1100 or 1300 plus 256Mb DDR333 (enough for test machine surely)AGP slot so own GFX needed, I would be happy to donate if you are happy to support, I have tried so many MCE clones but none are wife proof!!

Thanks for the offer. I've got enough spare machines, the problem is commiting a couple of days to get the development environment I need up and going.

I'm still actively thinking about this though, since I really need to be able to do this.

I'm still on vista and still got the same problem - I'm unable to play back transport stream files as a fake device. Unfortunately I havnt been able to justify the day or so required to setup a XP development environment. Sorry.

Bump I want to make this work even more now that it looks pretty, could it have anything to do with my DVB-T tuner (it is connexant 2388x based using stratford 4.0.107.0 drivers), because that card does not show in the list of devices if only show detected devices is ticked. All that appears in the list is Twinhan DVB-C and Twinhan DVB-C (DVB-TV 878 Digital Tuner Driver) but i only have the one DVB-C card (878 Based, not the Mantis)

I am able to playback transport streams in my test environment now. Do you have a 100MB or so file you can provide?
