Installed the new version of GBPVR (fresh install). Very Cool!!
Setup:
HDHomerun (latest software & drivers)
Tuner 0 ATSC
Tuner 1 QAM
HVR 1600 QAM & Analog cable
I have no problems mapping channels. I Had the HDHomerun running both the ATSC & QAM tuners without a problem with the previous version of GBPVR.
I can tune & record QAM channels with the HVR 1600.
However with the HDHomerun I can't get it to view or record a QAM channel (Okb file results).
I checked the HDHomerun config app it I click on Tuner 1 & select QAM & can tune into a channel. So I know that's working.
When I run GBPVR when trying to record a QAM channel with the HDHomerun I can look at the HDHR config app for Tuner 1 & it shows GBPVR is using 8SVB instead of QAM for tuning.
Below is the relevant info from the bda.ini file. The HDHomerun info is the same as what I used previously.
[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1010ABD0-0]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1010ABD0-0
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1
[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1010ABD0-1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1010ABD0-1
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1
Skimmimg thru the bda.ini file I noticed the HVR 1600 (QAM)
entry also had a line that the HDHR does not:
TUNING_SPECIAL=2
Anyone else run into this problem?
Thank's
Dave
