Try running ReRegisterFilters.bat on the client.

copy / paste from the log into explorer is correctly playing the file with wmp.

In theory yes, but unfortunately it's not working at the moment, and I havnt managed to find the time to investigate why. It was working during some of the pre-release testing.

I am about to invest in a VCD screen and try the LCDsmartie thing.

What LCD or VFD displays will be supported by GBPVR?

I am looking at a 20x4 crystalfontz unit.

Sorry, it only works with the iMON VFD's at this stage, but I may add support for other types in future.

I'm fairly sure there was some plugin that worked with LCDsmartie.
