looks like a picture you would get if the tv standard is wrong
are you sure the capture card is able to use the standard you have selected
or try other standards
if you have to force it maybe thats why it wont work

if you record without watching then playback the picture is ok?

Could it be that you are using an NTSC card with a PAL signal? I remember when I bought my PAL card from Australia with me to Canada, and got some simlar looking results.

I think i have tried all the possible combinations of Video & Audio decoders.
In any case, I will upload new logs setting audio to system default, this night (now I'm at work Smile ).

stustunz:
I didnt try the "recording & watching" suggestion, i'll try and tell you. The card supports PAL-N, cause using the hauppauge WinTV2000, i cant watch and record with no problems. What i'm not sure of is if setting ForceStandard = 1024 in the direct.ini file is the correct way (and value).

ChiPPy:
When i leave the card in NTSC, the image look wrong too, but it looks diferent. You cant almost recognize figures and is out of color. The image posted is setting the card to PAL-N (or PAL-N-COMBO).

I'm thinking that maybe a full reintall of my system could help, but its a long work to do. Is there a nice way to start from the beginning without having to format? I mean, uninstalling / deleting all filters, codecs, ..., without leaving the machine in an unknown state?

Thanks again.
Gsas.

1024 was the correct value to try.

The values below are hex, so need to be converted to decimal. (0x400 = 1024)

AnalogVideo_None = 0x00000000
AnalogVideo_NTSC_M = 0x00000001,
AnalogVideo_NTSC_M_J = 0x00000002,
AnalogVideo_NTSC_433 = 0x00000004,
AnalogVideo_PAL_B = 0x00000010,
AnalogVideo_PAL_D = 0x00000020,
AnalogVideo_PAL_H = 0x00000080,
AnalogVideo_PAL_I = 0x00000100,
AnalogVideo_PAL_M = 0x00000200,
AnalogVideo_PAL_N = 0x00000400,
AnalogVideo_PAL_60 = 0x00000800,
AnalogVideo_SECAM_B = 0x00001000,
AnalogVideo_SECAM_D = 0x00002000,
AnalogVideo_SECAM_G = 0x00004000,
AnalogVideo_SECAM_H = 0x00008000,
AnalogVideo_SECAM_K = 0x00010000,
AnalogVideo_SECAM_K1 = 0x00020000,
AnalogVideo_SECAM_L = 0x00040000,
AnalogVideo_SECAM_L1 = 0x00080000,

Using windows: ALT + PRINT SCREEN (the key at the left of the Scroll Lock key). Then you open any image application (MS-Paint, Photoshop, etc), paste & save.

Here are my last logs with Audio Renderer set to System Default.

I also tryied to manual record some minutes of TV, but when it ends, nothing is listed and i cant find any new file for the recording. I dont know if it is related to my problem, or i has nothing to do with it.
