Vista No channel Setup Hau HVR 1600

I've installed GB-PVR the old version a long time ago and am having a problem setting up this version on my new Vista PC. I have the HAuppauge 1600 PVR and it seems to detect the card however when I try to update the EPG it takes about 4-5 minutes and does nothing.. When I open the window to watch live tv it says no channels setup. I've tried going to the c:\users\myname\.... and found that after the \virtual store there is no subfolders... So I can't delete the file that people seem to be having a problem with because it doesn't exist. I've updated my zap2it account with all the correct info and within the config window it does show that I have the channels...

I've tried the uninstall and reinstall that didn't fix anything. I've also tried the NativeUtils and QAM fix as well as the dongle.... fix and nothing seems to fix the channel setup problem. I'm not sure which log to attach so I'm going to just guess at the config.exe log.. But if thats not the right one or someone could give further help I'd be greatly appreciative.

When you set up the capture source did you do the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step? If this is not done, or the channels are not mapped, then it disables the channels.
