1.08 minor problems

After installing 1.0.8, I first got it working only on the mvp. Then I read a post that I had to run direct3d so I had to get a new driver for my ati 9550. Then also on the pc I got the new interface from 1.0.8 (before the new driver: gbpvr.exe came up which looked almost exactly like 99.12 and pvrx2.exe crashed on every manually start).

I have some small issues:
1. On the remote of the mvp, I can't change channels with the digits, only with channel up/down.
2. On the remove of the mvp, button "pictures" doesn't work at all
3. In for example music library (but also videos and photos), "[..]" (up one directory) counts as "1". So with 15 songs in a subdirectory "[..]" is "1/16".

Question:
In tv guide on the mvp (the television) the lines around the programs are very thick, it is possible to adjust (in config-file)?

This should work. Can you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs?

Can you check you config.xml <DefaultPluginPictures> setting. It should say:

<DefaultPluginPictures>Picture Library</DefaultPluginPictures>

This is the way I intended it to behave. There is 16 items in the list, so it shows "16". Any sub directories would also count as items.

Sorry, not at this stage. They're 2 pixels wide on the MVP. I did this when my pre-release testers were indicating they were getting major flickering on the horizontal lines when they were only 1 pixel wide (since with interlaced display they'd only display every second frame).

I've never had this work in PVRX2 on the mvp without also using the ok key.

I've found the cause of this now and fixed it for the next release.

In the mean time, just press ok as mvallevand suggests above.

Can you check you config.xml <DefaultPluginPictures> setting. It should say:

<DefaultPluginPictures>Picture Library</DefaultPluginPictures>

It didn't. After correction, taking MVP off of the power and putting the power back on, it now does work.

Just found a few other minor problems:

1. in the main menu, the text in the black area at the bottom is not translated (it was in 99.12 and it's the same language.xml, and all other text is translated), for example: "Browse the TV Guide and select programmes to record", "Watch your recordings", etc.
2. in config I have checked "System" in the plugin tab, but pvrx2.exe doesn't show that

The screen is currently missing from PVRX2, I belive sub is planning to put it back in in a future release.

You can't set the default rec-quality to high, you only can edit the recording-profiles to what you want. You can set the medium-recording profile to the same settings as the high-quality-profile but it will still be named medium recording profile, and it will be used as default recording profile. I hope you get what I mean.

I know what you mean, but I'm quite sure it did function like it should in 99.12.
