It should create channels if it doesnt find some with an exact match. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

To be honest, I havnt had a chance to look into it yet. If you can make it easy for me by zipping and emailing over your gbpvr.db3 and recordings-dump.xml, just after the recreating your capture source, but before importing recordings-dump, then I'll run it up in the debugger here to see what happens.

Where to? I've discovered something. It seems that when I update the EPG, it obliterates the recording-dump.xml. That's why there's nothing to import. If I restore a manually saved recording-dum.xml then the import goes well... But you can see for yourself.. Waiting for a PM with your email address

I PM'd you my email address.

Yes, the recordings-dump.xml is created with epg update. The recordings-dump.xml is renamed the recordings-dump.xml.bak at this time, so probably still there as a backup.
Dont worry sending the database if this was the cause.

So I gues, what I'd like to see is: an update, so all the channels are in order, and then a Import. (I could have my program import from the back up file. Just thought it would be better to not have the file 'destroyed'...

Scratch that. It was too easy on my side. Let you do other things...
I'm really happy that you did work the reoccurring schedule backup and restore. It works great...
