I have a question. I do not want to upgrade GBPVR to the latest version on my main desktop (my pvr PC). It's working and I don't want to mess with it. I have a laptop where I can upgrade to the current version. I was thinking that I could get an account to schedulesdirect and update the EPG data on my laptop. Could I then copy over the EPG file from the laptop to the desktop and not have to worry about the upgrade on the desktop?

You best bet might be switching to xmltv, which should work with any version of GB-PVR. Schedules Direct will have an xmltv grabber available.

Yes, there is tons of discussion about SchedulesDirect in the 'general discussion' forum if you want to know more.
