Can not play a DVD

to bad. When I buy a video card with a TV out I can use this to connect to my TV and play DVD's?
Can I switch off the output to my TV trough the PVR-350? Now it switches automatically the output to the 350

Thats what most people do.

It'll only be using the PVR350 tv out if you've told it to use the PVR350 hardware decoder, so you just need to set it back to the default 'use software decoding' option.
