This may be an obvious question but... does the DVD player work without the plug-in installed?

Yes, unfortunately it does work without the plugin. It also works with the plugin if I use the GPVR gui.
Is it only me that has this problem? In that case maybe something strange with my setup. /Oscar

You are the only one I have heard from with the problem. I am not sure where the object reference is in the code. It looks like the DVD starts playing (the plugin gets all the required data to display the information) and then stops playing before the exception is thrown. I can try to add some more debug logging to pin point the problem if you are willing to test it for me. I hate it when something doesn't work perfectly...

Hm, Sounds like it is something wrong with my setup. Anyway I am glad to try anything you suggest if that can help, and if you want to help me sort this out.
Thanks Oscar p.s maybe we should move this conversation to your suppport thread instead. I will check there also.

I think I finally found the fix. It seems the plugin is handled slightly differently in v1.0.8 and 1.0.16 (I just upgraded to v1.0.16 and had the same problem). The new .dll file is on the plugin post here. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=28094&page=4
Hope this fixes the problem for you, sorry it took so long to come up with a solution.
