The HVR-3000 is twin-tuner, but only has one DVB demodulator. If you tune to DVB-T, it's used for that, if you tune to DVB-S, it's used for satellite instead. If you have a -T stream going and try to tune to a -S stream at the same time, the -T stream will continue and the -S stream will refuse to start, and vice versa.
In effect it's a single tuner card, but that tuner can do satellite, analog TV or terrestrial digital.
It is, however, a very nice card, and it can pick up BBC HD off Astra 28.2
