Hi,

I am having a problem getting Schedules Direct up and running. I installed the patch, following the directions, but I am still getting an error window:

I don't have the slightest idea what to do now.

Thanks for any help.

Well, I am having problems resizing the screen shot so here is what the error window says:

Your EPG source does not appear to be configued correctly. Please check the EPG Source Settings and try again. System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

This is different than what the window said before I applied the patch. I am registered with Schedule Direct, so I am not sure why this is happening. There is more to the error window, but I am not sure if it is useful or not. Let me know...

This error indicates you've not entered a valid email address/password combination.

When I log in on the Schedules Direct page, the username/email and password work fine, and I am entering the exact same one when prompted to in config.

Everytime we've seen that error before, that has been the cause. I'm sure that'll be the case here. This is pretty clearly indicated by the 401 error returned from the server.

Maybe try deleting it an resetting the email/password. Also make sure there is not trailing spaces.

If you cant get it to go, you can PM your account details to me and I'll try it here for you.

I figured it out. I changed my email address. For some reason I've been having problems with my Gmail account not being recognized as a valid email address. This is not the first time its happened, so I doubted that would be the case, but I tired and it worked. Now I just have to figure out the mystery of why that email is not being seen as valid.

Hmmm... I just ran into and solved the same problem. During configuration, I entered my e-mail address and password for Schedules Direct as prompted, and I got the same error as the original poster. Then I read this thread and tried entering my Schedules Direct username instead, and this worked.

I think the confusion lies with GBPVR config asking for an e-mail address instead of a username. It might be a good idea to change this for the next release.

Anyways, thanks for your continual hard work on GBPVR, Sub!
