you need to sort out why you are getting the 0kb file first something is not working

at the moment you have nothing to decode

can you post your logs again just zip and uplaod the whole log

another thing you could try is setting teh mux back to the dvr-ms and do a recording do you have a your tv guide working are you sure you have linked your station numbers to frequencies

I agree with you there. That does seem to be the problem.

Where to go from here though? That is the question...

The TV Guide isn't working. It's just blank. I'm just using the DVB EPG Update because it looked like the quickest way to get up and running.

Tuning requests. you mean like this:

Code:
BBC TWO    (T:C52,722000,0,0,8~NID:12311~ONID:9018~TSID:4098~P:4226~V:610~A:611~L:eng~PMT:4226~LCN:2~N:>BBC TWO)

... Log attached.

P.S: I appreciate your trying to help so far Smile

sp4rky Wrote:Yes, sorry. Going through the config I added my tuners and scanned for channels. It found about 30 channels in total so I just enabled a few to start with then clicked "Update EPG".

You need to click "Update EPG" before you scan for channels. It'll then populate the list at the bottom of the capture source page. Once that's populated go into your capture source and do a scan. On the left of that page (after the scan has completed) you'll see a few columns, mainly the list of channels from the EPG on the left and a column of drop down lists on the right. It should automatically match all the right channels together if you're using DVB EPG. With other EPG sources the channel names from the EPG don't always match exactly (eg BBC1 <> BBC ONE) so you would then have to manually select the right channel in the drop down list.

The TV guide should then also be populated.

I was just about to ask you if you needed to scan for channels before updating the EPG (then go back and map channels). I don't used DVB EPG so thought maybe you needed to scan first so it knew where to update from but I assume it works that out! Smile

Cheers
