Doug, what video card are you using?

Thanks sub.
If it makes a difference, I should add that the pvr computer is a dedicated machine that sits in the garage next to the cable modems and hubs. It is not used to view video. The card drives an ancient monitor that I use to check what is going on. All video viewing is done over the network with the MVPs.

The MVPs are not able to find the server at this point either.

Thanks

This has been relatively common for people upgrading from pre-1.0 versions. They've found they need to enable PVRX2.exe in their firewall, otherwise the MVP is unable to disconnect.

Thanks everyone. Problems now solved.

To get the screen to appear I had to change from VBR9 (?) to Overlay as suggested.

The finding of the MVP was solved by the inclusion of PVRX2.exe in the Windows Firewall exceptions.

Many thanks for such great software

Fixed it. Had to download new drivers for graphics. Don't know what was in there but now both GBPVR and PVRX work.
