I have some blank channels using schedulesdirect. I've put in a request to have the channel line up checked they would like me to check the XML file to ensure the data isn't in there and GBPVR isn't reading it correctly. The problem is I have can't find where the XML file is. I'm using the GUI config EPG source Schedules direct as recommended in the wiki. If someone could point me towards where this XML file is stored or an easy way to get it I would appreciate it.

Thanks

In the gbpvr\config.xml, change <SaveZap2itXML> to "true". It will be saved to c:\zap2it.xml on the next update.

Hit the 'Update EPG' button again, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Are you running on Vista?

Nope not using vista........so much for the change to schedulesdirect as simple. =) The bad thing is my trail period runs out today and I don't really want to pay for something I'm having problems with now....=/

Strange. According to that log, it did create a c:\zap2it.xml.

Its not a file thats normally produced or used for anything. Its a debug file that the app can usually produce if the user needs a copy of the data the app received. I can only guess something about your file permissions is disallowing this file from being created in the root directory of c:\. Without this setting in config.xml, the xml received from schedules direct is not normally written to disk.

No, not specifically - its just a guess. Its the only reason I can think of that the file might not be created though.
