I just installed a conexant 23880 and going to record 2 shows that are on 3 hours in the future but I can't watch live tv now

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Also I canceled one of the recordings and whe i went to check the only recording it had to do

When i checked it it was in fast forward mode the whole time with no sound.When i try it on another computer it's not fast forward but still no sound

Yes I can on the no tuners are availble but the Sound issue comes and goes. here is the logs again from just 2 secs ago

Can you enable 'log flushing' then reproduce the no tuners available problem and repost the logs? Also include a description of what you tried to record, exactly what time you tried to do it (so I know where to look in the logs) and what times the next recordings were due to start?

Sure can I just tried to record Gossip Girl at 8pm No other recording were listed what happens is that it's in permanent fast forward When i try it on another computer it's not fast forward but still no sound

Are either of these the 'no tuners available' problem I asked you to reproduce? It doesnt sound like it from your description above (sounds like a set of logs to do with 'no sound' and something to do with ff during playback).

I'm sorry, and this isnt aimed at you in particular, but I'm getting sick to death of people not being able to follow a single train of thought and branch off on to all sorts of other stuff, posting random logs about other things. It makes it virtually impossible for me to work through a problem.

The quality to people's support posts have just been absolute crap recently. I'm just going to stop replying when people doing this in future.

Part of you problem seems to be you've got your device numbers set incorrectly. Your Conexant 23880 capture source should be set to device #1. Your HVR-1600 capture sources should also be set to device #1.
