My tv is setup as the 2nd monitor, my primary monitor is an lcd on my desk. I sometimes use the PVR machine as a second computer if I need two screens.

With GBPVR.exe, when GBPVR was running on the tv I could double click on GBPVR on the task bar and bring it to the first monitor. I could also right click and get a context menu to shut GBPVR down. This was handy if I wanted to browse the TV guide while talking to my boss on the phone or to occasionaly watch tv from my desk.

None of this works with PVRX2. Right clicking on the PVRX2 button on the task bar gets you nothing. PVRX2 needs to be shut down from within the app or by using Windows task manager.

Is there any quick way to move PVRX2 from one screen to another quickly (without launching the config app)?

This was never an intended feature of GBPVR.exe, so not something I'd tried to replicate with PVRX2.

I still get this. Infact I get the exact same options as in GBPVR.exe, including the 'Close' and 'Toggle Force Foreground' options.

I cant think of any reason you wouldnt get this context menu when you right click on the app title bar or process in the task list next to the start button.

No, this isnt actually possible since the Direct3D acceleration required for PVRX2 cant be moved to another monitor without restarting the app.

I also get the exact symptom with the right-click -- that is, nothing happens.

I used to also use the right-click menu frequently in GBPVR.exe to "force toggle" or close it on my second monitor (a TV in the living room).

But this latest PVRX2 gives me nothing.

Thoughts?

Figured it out -- or at least isolated the symptom.

The right-click doesn't work when GBPVR is running fullscreen on my second monitor.

As soon as I ALT+ENTER it down to a window, all the wonderful right-click menu items suddenly work again.

Yeah, you could be right. GBPVR.exe and PVRX2.exe use different mechanisms to achieve a fullscreen window. GBPVR.exe used to be prone to problems with not filling the screen, and not toggling cleanly between fullscreen and window mode, and mouse clicks in Fullscreen Exclusive mode not going to the right place on the screen. These didnt effect everyone, but certainly quite a few people. PVRX2.exe solved these creating the fullscreen window in a different way, and this may have effected the ability to have the right click menu when in fullscreen mode.

Unfortunately its unlikely I'll be able to fix this for you, since it'll mean changing the way the fullscreen window is created, which is significant change. Sorry, I dont care that much about the right click menu.
