Hi there.

I'm considering converting my CaptiveWorks 3000HD box to GBPVR.. because of all the wonderful things I've heard about it.

However.. I'm wondering if you might know if my PCI DVB cards are supported.

This is the only info I could find on them.

"The card is roughly equivalent to a Digiwave 103g. Those drivers may work. The PCI-ID is not the same and that may cause a problem. We don't use them in Windows here."

And this link was also included.
http://www.geniatech.com/d_dvbs.htm
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much.

I havnt heard of the device myself. If it's got BDA drivers then it should work, but you'll most likely need to add a new section to the bda.ini file for this device. Some info about doing this can be found here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...aptureCard

Thanks for the speedy reply! I will check that link out! I guess the only real way to find out is to install Smile

Could you tell me what "BDA" means?

I believe under Linux they get detected as "Conexant 2388x" Does that tell you anything?

BDA drivers are those that implement Microsoft's Broadcast Driver Architecture standard. Most devices made in the last couple of years have BDA drivers.
