... ignore, turns out there was an extraction problem. It now works, and resuming from hibernation seems to be fixed Smile.

Thanks Sub.

Can you post the date/times of all the .dll and .exe files in your GB-PVR directory? It sounds like one of these files is an old version.

Spoke to soon, it seems the resume patch version of PVRX2 conflicts with something, probably one of the other patches from the survival guide. I get the menu OK and LiveTV works, but most everything else (eg. going into Recordings or the Video Library) crashes with an endless error (details attached, along with exe/dll dates & times).

What's the best way to fix this? Note I'm using the default Blue skin.

I'm fairly sure this is an old version of the file. I'm away from normal machine though, so cant check or post my version at the moment.

Hmm, everything was working after the 1.1.5 upgrade until I started installing patches today. I'm just reinstalling 1.1.5, I'll let you know if that fixes it...

... you were right, PVRUiPublic.dll was the problem. I attempted a 1.1.5 Repair install, but:

1) it fails part-way through if the installer is 'run' directly, ie. not saved first. When 'run' it obviously is saved to the temp internet files dir, and that seems to cause it to not find a file during the process (from memory it's something like 'network data error reading ...msi' from the temp dir). I'm guessing this would happen even with a normall upgrade/full install?

2) The Repair install didn't actually fix the file until I manually deleted it and tried again.

3) I have no idea where I got the bad version of PVRUiPublic.dll from today. Too tired to find out Cool.

I think I now what happened. I must have had an old patch in the same place I saved the new patches too and extracted it by mistake. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction S.

No worries - I though it'd be something like that.

OK, while the patch works, it always leaves me with this error message on top of the recovered PVR instance on resuming:

"PVRX2 has enountered an unexpected error and needs to close."

Is that the same (database?) issue that used to happen when closing the app too quickly after launching it?
