Yes, that's a step in the right direction. Even though the syntax help the program spits out shows this spelled with hyphens instead of underscores, it's the underscores that are required.

Of course all is still not well. I get the following now with the burn ISO command:
Code:
PHASE: D
    VIDEO_TS directory not found
[!] DVD-Video files reallocation failed
Burn process failed!
NeroAPI reports: DVD-Video files reallocation failed.
The VIDEO_TS directory does exist however, and VLC can play it without problem. I'll keep playing with it and see what I can figure out, but this is definitely progress.

Thanks again for the help.

There was a posting on another site about problems with the nero8 api. Some issue with iso_no_joliet causing the missing VIDEO_TS.
It's possible there is a bug causing this in nerocmd since nero 8 is so new.
THe only way I can get it to find the video_ts dir is to take out the iso_no_joliet parameter. I know that isn't the answer, but it might not be a bad idea to give nero8 a chance to settle out a bit.

I know it's a pain. I'm redoing the interface to make it much easier to use. I'll have that out this weekend.
Basically in the current version you position the list to select the pair you want to modify and then you use the left and right arrows to adjust where you want to set the commercial and then press the setintime or setouttime buttons. There are hotkeys for all of this too which are listed on the wiki.
I use the skip to next pair and skip to previous keys to position the list so I don't have to scroll into the list all the time to set the pair I want to adjust.

The new version will have an auto mode where the pair is picked automatically for whatever operation you want.

The installation script for burndvdx2 and skiptool puts wizuihelper in the gbpvr root dir. The version is an older version and will cause trouble with other plugins that use wizuihelper. The correct spot is plugins/common. This will be fixed in the next release.

A new version of burndvdx2 has been posted to the wiki.

Add skiptool v0.0.0.6, Added automatic save of option settings for subsequent runs, changed installation script to move wizuihelper to plugins/common Fixed hard coded paths in cmd files in third party dir. Misc bug fixes.

a couple of quick points:

It doesn't work with CS3 (can;t recall if the old one did or not). The problem is with the skip tool screen. It flashes up and then disappears back to the menu. default blue is fine.

I thought that the old memcoder process used to run at low priority, perhaps I'm wrong. Anyway it would be good if it did so as not to affect the performance of gbpvr.

still testing.....

thanks for the new release!

I added a button on skiptool to save images so the skin changed again. You might want to post in the CS3 forum.

I didn't change anything on the mencoder priority and you are right it really sucks up the CPU. I think that should be changeable in the scripts in third party/burndvd. I'll take a look when I get a chance tonight.

Also it depends on which version you are comparing. For the last two versions mencoder is used when you ask to cut commercials and ffmpeg is used otherwise. Ffmpeg doesn't seem to use nearly the CPU that mencoder does. Ffmpeg pipes it output to dvdauthor, while mencoder writes a temp file since you can't pipe out of it because the file header is written non-sequentially.

ah I think it may have been ffmpeg that ran with low priority.
