I am having some issues mapping my QAM channels to my EPG.
I have scanned for QAM with GB-PVR's channel mapper and it found a lot of signals. The problem is the ones that I know are the actual tv channels look like this:
This makes it really hard to figure out which channel is which especially since I don't think I have my mux's all setup correctly yet so its hard to tune some of the channels.
I saw in another thread that TSReaderLite would also show you the channels. So I used that and sure enough it matched what the HDHomeRun website said it should. Anyway, here's an example of the export of one of the files for a block of channels I want to tune. I want 106.1, 106.2,106.3. As this file shows:
http://www.oztheory.com/qam/106.htm
They do exist and indeed do tune via QAM in the HVR-1600. The problem is associating them.
Is there a way to get the Digital Channel remapper to give me something more like 106.1 106.2 etc? It gives me things like 76.1 Unknown1 (000) and 76.1 Unknown1 (000(AC3)) which are SD channels I can tune (http://www.oztheory.com/qam/76.htm) but for the HD channels in 105 and 106 they're the 0(00... thing.
If i can't get the digital channel remapper to is there a way to use the information from TSReader to write my own tuning requests?
Thanks Sub and everyone else who's got QAM working.
