Very long pause when using catch-up

I have been eagerly awaiting this fix. Has this problem been resolved for 1.1.5?

I sort of know whats happening - its been like this for a while. I'll try to fix it for the next release if I can.

This catch-up bug is the only one that bothers me on an almost daily basis. Is there any chance this issue will be resolved in the near future? Thanks.

Unfortunately after looking at it for nearly a whole day and not managing to fix it, I've decided I've wasted enough time on this problem that is bothering very few people. It'll have to go back on the pile for a rainy day. Sorry.
