hello everyone...

im new to gbpvr and i already got everything set up and running, overall great software but i have some problems.

1. while watching live tv there no OSD, i cant pause, play ect...
2. when theres a fast motion (especially in sports shows) there a noticeable distortion, what can i do about it?

im using PVR150MCE, and the renderer is VMR7.. tell me if u need to know anything else

tnx!

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log files and I'll take a look.

Try different video decoders and/or a different video renderer.

2. the quality problem happens with all TV softwares except sagetv... renderer or decoder change wont help, i tried that.

The reason you're not geing any OSD is because you're using a version of the Cyberlink decoder that is incompatible with VMR. Try installing this decoder: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

I'm positive changing the renderer and/or decoder will fix it. What decoders have you tried?

SageTV also uses Directshow to do its file playback, so if you use the same decoder and renderer as SageTV then you should end up with identical results.

You can save it anywhere you like. Create a directory for it somewhere, save the file into it, then follow the instructions on that page for registering it. ie, run:

regsvr32 c:\path\to\Mpeg2DecFilter.ax
