Hmm. It seems like file that ffmpeg creates is causing trouble with dvdauthor. Dvdauthor can be a little flakey at times.
Any way you can post the input file somewhere that I can get it and try it here and see if I can debug?

If pbs reads this, any thoughts on what is causing dvdauthor trouble?

From what I could find out it appears the vob doesn't have NAV packs but I don't know why that would happen. Was the mpeg you started with created from your capture card?

Hmm, I'll try to setup a ftp server on my pvr, but the input file is about 2.5 GB. The input is from DVB-T, so only the mpeg stream copied to HDD (using Hauppauge Nova-T 500 and 90002). Mux is Cyberlink 5.0.3131, which works fine (very good quality). I'll post a reply, when the ftp server is O.K.

Do all recordings do the same thing? If so, capture a small clip that we can try.

Hi Pastro,

I've the same problem with all my caputres. I think it's not a problem of the plugin, but maybe with german notation of file names.

I'll try to contact kurtph, hope he's able to tell me, what he had done to solve his problem.

I'll give a reply, when I've found a solution(or maybe not...)

Thanks for your patience and greeting form germany

(sorry in advance for suggesting this)
How about copying the file to a new simple name and see if it works.

And greetings back to you from Austin, Texas.

Hi goy2k,

What was your problem again I missed the thread?

Pastro, the plug in has now been working fine for me for several weeks. I think the frame rate is set too low. Could this be in the plugin or in the GB-PVR settings. The quality is generally fine, just a bit jittery when panning text. Any ideas? Thanks (from WET England).

if you are using an analogue tuner, you can increase the bitrate in the config. I think the default bitrate is medium.

burndvd doesn;t transcode/convert the recording AFAIK so I don't think this is a burndvd2 issue.

Hi kurtph,

I've read about your problem with missing .ifo file. I've the same problem now. The .vob files are generated fine, but imgburn generates an error, because of missing .ifo file...

Hi pastro,

at weekend I'll try a little more e.g. with renaming the file.

Again, thanks to all for their answer and help ;oD

PS: the bitrate is set to low. It's only copying mpeg stream to HDD, because of DVB-T, the bitrate is always the same.
