ATSC tuning and mapping.

well, the problem is being able to match all the OTA channels, and their weird channel names, like 8-1, to channels that dont exist in the EPG. If Fox is on channel 4 or whatever, I want fox to be on channel 4 in gbpvr. The problem is, there is no channel 4. My EPG skips from channel 2 to 68

Thats where im stuck.

Its sounds like you dont have the appropriate channel lineups assocatied with your EPG. If you're using Schedules Direct you may need to log into your account and add an additional channel linue.

I did double check the lineup, and it lists all the local channels (2-68) but it doesnt list the local broadcast digital channels, which I think are the 8-1, etc channels.

You know, between you and Sub, it just home. Like Sub suggested and I missed, I just created a new lineup on schedules direct for the broadcast only stuff. I didnt know you could have multiple lineups, and only had one, for the satellite.

Right, and you don't have to do anything special within the config to use each of them.

I've been trying to get this to work also. DirecTV and OTA ATSC. I have about 30 HD ATSC channels. I setup the EGP on SD with 2 lineups as noted above. I setup the directv source and channels and it works fine. I add the ATSC source and scan the channels then map them to the EGP data. Sounds just like your setups. But, the TV Guide shows the ATSC channels near the end of the list at about 9000 something. There's no guide data shown and you can't select and view the channels. It almost locks up if you venture into that area.

Basically, I can't get the OTA channels to show up at all. I've been fighting this for 2 months.

Anyway to use SQLITEODBC to work on the database?
