Your logs show the EPG updating just fine and pulling in a large number of shows.

Are you running on vista?

I too am experiencing this issue. I'm running WinXP/GBPVR 1.1.5. I see that it's pulling the data, but for some reason, it stopped showing it on the guide. I even did a complete dump of the channels and show information from within the config app, but still no cheese.

I'm using yapi2xml, which was working fine. Any ideas?

Yours is most likely a different cause. Hit the 'update EPG' button in the config app then zip and attach your config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

I'm sorry Sub,

I had the date and time set wrong on my system. I had to flash the bios and forgot to set the date and time. Now everthing seems ok.

Thanks,

I am having other EPG related problems, that may be related. When I update my xmltv-based data and then hit Update EPG, it seems nothing happens at first. The TV Guide is still empty, or at least the details are empty. I did actually succeed to start a recording on the empty slot, E.R actually, and it recoded as if the EPG data was there. The details on the recording said E.R, but the TV Guide was still empty.

When I returned to PVRX2 later on, maybe after an restart of it, the EPG data was there...

It seems the EPG data is "lagging" of sorts. The update goes Ok but sometimes it takes a long time for the data to appear in the TV Guide. Sometimes though the update is visible in the TV Guide as well instantly after EPG update so this is a little random actually.

I have three tuners all connected to the same xmltv EPG data. If that has anything to do with it. And I have a really fast computer with lots of RAM.

If you're leaving the application running and want to update the EPG and have the data immediately available then do the 'Update EPG' from the System screen within the app

Ok!

I thought I had closed the app down before I updated, but perhaps the app was still lingering in the back during close down? I think that was the probable cause for the trouble. As said the problem appears randomly, but seldom. Perhaps the app takes a little while to close and I was too quick to hit the update epg from the tray.

Thanx Sub!

Sub: I am not running vista, I am running XP Pro. If the logs showing EPG is being download correctly, I wonder where it went? Every channel and every time slot is still showing "no show details". Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Its probably vista getting in the way. Try deleting the "c:\users\<account name>\appdata\virtual\localstore\program files\devnz" directory.
