GBPVR is recording programs 1 hour later than they should be. I have my computer's time setup properly. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thank for any help.

Do you have the time zone set properly? I'm pretty sure that the record times are based off of GMT so if your time zone is incorrect then things can get messed up.

I have my computer's time zone set to Arizona Standard Time (I live in Arizona, so that should be correct). Is there anywhere else I need to change the time?

You're probably not understanding what the timeslot recording does.

When you schedule a timeslot season recording, it'll automatically schedule recordings for all shows that have the correct title and have a start time that falls within the timeslot.

The timeslot is defined as +/-90 minutes of the start time of the original recording. This is done to allow for slight variances in the schedule from week to week. The idea is that it copes with, for example, a show being broadcast an hour late one week due to some special event airing before it etc.

This scheme generally works well, but could cause serveral recordings to be picked up if there are several shows with that title in that 3hour period. I suspect this is what you're seeing.

If this timeslot behaviour doesnt suit you, and you'd prefer it to only record shows if they're at that exact time each day, then you can set <AllowableTimeslotVariance>0</AllowableTimeslotVariance> in config.xml, but dont come complaining to me when one of your favourite shows airs late one week and it doesnt get recorded

I like to add that if you change the timeslotvariance, it only applies to season recordings that are setup after the change in config.xml. So it won't change anything on a season recording already setup.

Sub - I don't think that's the problem I'm having. My PVR is literally recording everything one hour later than it should. For example, I told my PVR to record every episode of 'Lost'. When I go to playback these shows, they aren't 'Lost'. They are whatever comes on that channel one hour later. They are still titled 'Lost', but it's actually the 9pm news or something. It's a recent problem. The PVR had been functioning fine but then all of a sudden, without any change from me, it started doing this with every single show I have set to record.

Ya it does. All the shows are displaying the correct time in the TV Guide and all of them are recording 1 hour late.

Yes. They are both where they should be.

I'm starting to suspect that it isn't always a 1 hour difference. It might be more random than that.
