EPG Problems

With your database all I had to do was hit the update EPG button, then start the app and the tv guide was fully populated.

Can you have another try at hitting the 'update epg' button in the config app, then repost your config.exe.log?

Sorry, I've got no idea. Yours logs look fine. There is no sign of any errors. I can see several thousand listings being downloaded.

If PVRX2 is not running, The guide works and updates fine. If PVRX2 is running and scheduled update happens the guide malfunctions and even hitting update EPG in 'system', does not fix the problem and requires the user to empty the EPG and remove all channels in 'config' then re-update.

Kind of annoying when the machine you built was meant to run without a keyboard and mouse and operate solely by remote control or remote desktop.

I guess I can live with that considering everything else is awesome in PVRX2.

mad_professsor, as I said to you earlier in this thread - Hit the 'Update EPG' button in your capture source settings then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look. You didnt supply the logs last time I asked.

I am getting a similar problem, I get now show data in the EPG (SD). It was there earlier today but now is gone. I attached a screen shot of the error I get when I tried to update the epg in the config.

I am using vista 64.

Ok I am a loser! It helps if my user name and password are entered into the setup for SD.

Although I thought that I had checked that! Anyways my program info is back where it belongs.

Its normal to get this error in your logs if the recording service isnt running. Was it running at the time? It shouldnt matter if you get this error in your logs. Its only a problem if you get a message on the screen.

I am not getting any data in the TV Guide. I have emptied the temp directory of all files. I then ran config update EPG. I bring started up the PVRX2 and Update EPG in system but still no data in TV Guide.
