EPG Problems

I see the following in the pvrx2.exe log:

BTW I have the GBPVRRecordingService.exe running

The EPG update looks like it didnt encounter any problems.

Post the PVRX2.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Are you running on Vista?

I am not running Vista, but XP SP2 with Norton.

If the recording service is running, then it looks like something is getting in the way of communication to it. Probably firewall software of some type.

I have removed and install gbpvr. I have re-setup the hdhomerun. I now notice that I am getting TV Guide information for a period of 24 hours starting at 2/21/2008 5PM.

I have attached all my logs for you to review.

Thanks for the help. I made an adjustment to the Norton firewall and the socket errors seem to have been resolved.

I also see this same error below in the PVRX2 log when updating from the "Update EPG" option in the tray icon. If I update from inside the capture soruce then it does not appear. In both cases the EPG seems to update OK so the error does not seem to have a detrimental effect. I'm running on XP SP2 with only an AV and Windows built-in firewall (+ survival patches).

Thanks for all the support, I applied the fix and it seems that all of the listings in the tv guide are now working properly.

when i do an epg scan to collect the current program guide info it doesn't finish... it counts down to 1 second remaining and sticks and doesn't finish :mad:
