I have a hauppauge pvr350, and am trying to configure the frequencies for all the channels that we have on analog cable (I live in belgium). There's this site from the cable company that says what channel and frequency all the channels use. For example, for TMF they show channel-id 97 and a frequency of 280.25. When I use the frequency in WinTV32 (which comes with the pvr350 card) it works like it should. But when I enter that channel in gbpvr config, I only get snow. Am I right that in gbpvr I have to use the channel id (97) instead of the frequency (280.25)?

You can enter a frequency number in place of a channel number (in the capture source channel list). If its a big number, then it assumes its a frequency. 280250000

It seems that a frequency number does not always work? channel A is setup with a channel number, and B with a frequency. When I zap to channel A I see channel A. But when I then zap to channel B, I still see channel A?

I think I can manage by trial and error, but just in case.. here's the log. Channels VT4 and TMF are setup using the frequency, all the rest using the channel number. When I go to channel Vitaya it looks good. When I then go to TMF, I still see Vitaya. Same when I go to VT4.

Oh, sorry about the wrong logfile.

Anyway, I think I solved it: using a channel number for some channels gives you snow. When you enter a frequency with only 6 digits for that channel (280250), it doesn't work either: you don't get snow, but you see the previous channel. When you add three zeroes to the frequency (280250000), it works great. On to the next problem! ;-)

Thanks for the time sub!

If you re-read my post above, I actually told you that. I said the number was 280250000.
