Recording analogue problem

My system is setup with a Hauppauge HVR-4000 with freeviewHD on the DVB-T and the analogue just for Prime. When attempting to watch prime it takes two attempts on selecting watch from the guide for prime to appear. When attepting to record prime everything works correctly except that at the end of recording there is no file. Attempting to watch the program while recording does not work either.

Any help appreciated.

you cannot use the hvr4000 for analog recording as it doesnt have the required hardware mpeg encoder

Yep, what he said. The analog side of this device is not usable in GB-PVR due to the lack of hardware MPEG2 encoder.
