Try deleting any files that start with "gbepg-" in the c:\temp directory.

After a fair bit of playing around, I looked in the advanced settings for the tuner setup, and there was a checkbox for 'parse EPG <blah blah blah>' or similar, and it was unchecked. Checked that and then ran the epg update, and bingo! full channel info again.

Thanks for the response though sub

Double check the date/time being displayed in the grid.

Looks like I actually do have guide data...I was only looking at the unmapped channels in my guide. As soon as I scrolled down, I see the mapped channels have guide data! :o

The unmapped channels should not be showing up in the guide. If they are, that means that they are enabled on an analog capture source. You're digital channels should be disabled on analog capture sources. If they are not, you could end up recording a program in analog that you intended to record in HD.

If you have any SD digital channels that you also get in analog, you can have them enabled on both capture devices.

I also am having this problem. EPG appears to upgrade normally, but listings don't appear in the TV Guide. This used to work. I upgraded to the newest version and tried again, same results. Using CT in USA. Log file attached.

Where is the XML file that contains the program listing? I'm trying to figure out if the listings are actually downloaded.

Thanks.

The CT TV Listings service shutdown at the beginning of April, so this is why you're getting no listings. You'll need to find an new EPG source.

Thanks for the help...I'm still trying to figure out all this DTV stuff. I only have 1 capture device, an OnAir GT USB which only does digital reception.

When I scanned for channels I got what appeared to be "normal". Even several entries to what seems to be the station broadcasting the same thing on a different DTV channel, sometimes with the additional of AC3 for audio...So I don't understand that part of DTV yet.

After I added the Schedules Direct EPG, I had many more channels show up, which I then mapped to the EPG. I've gone back and disabled the original channels that appeared in the scan and before I enabled the EPG.

So basically, I'm not sure if I've done all this right...

Not sure if this is the root problem, but here's what I did... Loaded the Community Skin package and then, no TV Guide. Similar to earlier posts in this thread, the guide states '(no show details)'.

I wiped GBPVR from my system, reloaded, used config (load EPG), opened PVRX2, checked guide (nothing), tried to load the guide via GUI in System - nothing.

Help.

I found the problem. I accidentally changed my calendar on the computer to read a month in the future. As soon as I changed it back, up came the Guide.

My apologies.
