A version of GBPVR that not a PVR at all.

Basically take out the PVR part of it and have a program that just plays mp3's videos, pictures and plugins. I use Snapstream to record my shows. Because gbpvr will not work with my setup. But I would love to be able to play my shows with GBPVR. So it would be cool to have a version that didin't load up all the things it needs to record a show and just loaded up a gui with the ability to play back my media with your cool menus and stuff. Possible at all?

Thats the whole purpose of GB-PVR, so not something I'm likely to do, but you can manually disable whatever screens you dont want in the config app. You can also set the recording service to disabled. These pretty much give you want.

I'm surprised GB-PVR doesnt work with your setup though - you seem to have pretty regular hardware, which is the same as lots of others use.

So BeyondTV becomes JustTV and GBPVR becomes GB that's too odd.

I have a system that has no tuner cards, just to test/serve up media to my PCH, and it has alot of the normal plugins disabled.
