MCE remote cant stop GBPVR listening

I have just rebuilt my HTPC and I am finding with a pretty clean install of 1.2.13 that I am getting a double hit on each key I press on the remote. I have IR suite installed I have however also removed IR suite and the same thing happens.
I have also notice that no matter what I set the remote up to be in the config the MCE remote still controls GBPVR, is there a way to stop GBPVR listening to the remote completely?

Its driving me nuts :mad: and was one of the reasons why I rebuilt in the first place.

Any suggestions?

is it the same issue as this?

i had to put this in my config.xml <DirectlyHandleMCESkip>false</DirectlyHandleMCESkip> but this is only for skipping video and music tracks.

if double presses on the menu, you must have 2 sets of IR things listening...

Solved!

After trying everything that made sense, remembering I have just rebuilt my HTPC and this was one of the reasons why!!!

The issue was the batterys in my remote were on their way out!

Talk about trying the improbable after exhausting the probable.

Oh well at least its solved now.

same thing happened to me - after playing around, remote didn't respond then after a couple of seconds, menu's moved a couple of times!

these things are hard work
