Sub, do you know if this board is supported with gbpvr? After the failure to get a scan with my old compro card, this is available for the next 24 hours at less than 30 UKP, but before spending I need to know I'm not throwing money away again.

I dont know anything about that device. If its got BDA drivers then it should work.

Be warned that if you need diseqc control, GB-PVR can only do diseqc on DVB-S cards made by Hauppauge, Twinhan and FireDTV.

Cheers - no, nothing clever like diseqc.

edit: - Downloaded their drivers and looks like BDA, so I'll give it a whirl.

hi,
Did you try this card ?. because I'm planning on buying one .
can you use the two tunners in gbpvr ?
Is it fast when you switch channels?

I have the s-350 card and I love it . i think its better than Hauppauge nova +. but when i scan i don't get the names of the channels. It works very well in progDVB and dvbDream.

thanks

I have ordered and expected delivery is Monday - it was on a "today only" special last week from one of teh UK dealers. I should have more info later, after playing. At present I have only one spare coax feed until I get the drill and ladders out.

I have the s-350 and it works well except for the problem you have - getting 'unknown' for all the channel names. I did start a project to export the channel data from dvbdream into a scan.cache file, but I never got it finished. The s-350 will probably stay in my big client as a standby.

sub - any chance of you having a look at my config logs to see why no channels are found during a scan? In the zip file are filtercheck.log my bda.ini bits I created from the filtercheck and the pair of config log files. One of the German dvb viewers picks them up, so the tuners seem to be working.

Many thanks.

martin, it seems that you failed to upload your zip file.

It looks like its locking onto signals, but the device isnt sending any data.

Maybe try creating a c:\temp directory, then add a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\LogPSIProcessing=2 (DWORD) registry setting, then do a scan and zip and attach c:\temp\psi.log.
