"PVRX2 Has stopped Working" error

I am having a new playback problem on my GBPVR Vista installation. Most recently when I try to playback an HD recorded program I get the Windows error stated above. The file itself seems fine and can be played in VLC. The only recent changes I have made were some tweaks in comskip. I don't think this problem would be a result of that . I have attached log files. Again any help would appreciated.

This sort of stuff is usually related to the decoders you're using so I'd try other decoders.

I am using Nvidia Decoders. Using the Microsoft DECCHECKSetup.EXE program it show that this is set as the preferred Decoder. This has not changed since installation.

Regardless, this sort of thing is usually caused by the decoders, so I'd try other decoders to see.

Ok, I guess you were somewhat correct. In thinking about recent changes that I have made I remembered that I changed the playback setting in Config form system default to Nvidia. I changed it back to system default and now it plays the recordings. Now I am curious why explicitly telling it to use Nvidia decoder is not the same as Systems default , since Nvidia is the system default, No? regards,

download graphedit and use Render Media File under the file menu. I will show whatever decoder is the system default on the graph.
