Hi,

sorry if this was discussed elsewhere, but I was unable to find a solution in the forum.

Using version 1.2.13, I can record and watch video flawlessly. I use the PVRX2.EXE application.

The problem is that every day (at some point and for a reason I do not quite know) the application quits (possibly when the system wakes for a recording) and this error is displayed in 2 different dialog boxes.

I never saw this happen on screen, because launching the application several times generates no errors.

I have tried to change the video renderer settings (tried them all) but to no avail. I should mention that everything has worked smoothly while using the previous version (also using PVRX2.EXE). My video card id a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Post the logs next time it happens and I'll take a look.

I've seen this also with the latest release. Seems to be when PVRx2 is running, sleep then wake, which restarts PVRx2, gets the error. Maybe system doesn't get drivers loaded before PVRx2 restarts? I think it happened within the logs attached.
What, me worry?

Try setting <RestartAfterPowerup> to false in config.xml.

I'll try it. Is this a new setting? Is there a reason to restart at powerup?

It was added a few months ago. Someon had asked for a setting to do this, and I think I accidentally left it set to 'true' for the release.
