Hi,

I couldn't get channel service.exe working, so scanning through, I enabled "allow service to interact with desktop".

I setup a test recording and sure enough the channel changer works. But almost immediately after the service crashes.

Any ideas? If I disable allow interact, it doesn't crash (but doesn't change either)

I ran the cmd.exe as well as this.

cc.cmd {channel}

The logs end of the log is
2008-10-12 09:06:40.625 VERBOSE [5] Changing to channel (GBPVR.Backend.Common.ExeChannelChanger): 608
2008-10-12 09:06:40.625 VERBOSE [5] Running: o:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /c i:\redrat\RR_CLI\cc.cmd 608 plus
2008-10-12 09:06:40.640 VERBOSE [5] Requesting IRecordingSource to start recording: L:\mediacenter\record\Manual Recordings\test_2008$
2008-10-12 09:06:40.656 VERBOSE [5] DirectRecordingSource about to start recording oid:1 channel:608

And then it ends.

Any hints please?

Thanks

Okay I should add a minor update. With or without interact with desktop it crashes. I've only had a success recording once this morning (without channel change). Since then it appears to crash always starting a recording now Sad
