Problem now is that that version does not have schedules direct for the EPG. Before my motherboard died, I had this working with the 350 and Schedules Direct. Maybe I I need a slightly newer version, just enough to catch to the change to Sched. Direct. Will try to figure out what version had that change.

dont you have a video card with tv out ?

No, I do not have a video card with video out, I have the PVR350, that is what goes to my TV.

Yes, quite old, but not ancient, Aopen motherboard with integrated video, Celeron 1.7GHz. I am ressurrecting. I have done two XP installations today, must have rebooted 60 times :-(

stustunz, thank you so much. I installed 1.01.05, this one was the 350 hardware, and schedules direct.

My last piece of the puzzle is to get the remote control going, but that's for tomorrow. Then I need to transplant the motherboard to another case and a few other small things. You really have to love doing these things, so much work... Way too tired now.

Everything is working now, motherboard moved to new case, GBPVR 1.01.05, works like a charm with the PVR350.
